I bought a ID4 last June & for the first few months had no problem. Now whenever I try to charge it using a public charger it will work for a few minutes max then just stops. The error message said "vehicle could not be fully charged. Please see owners manual". But when I charge it at home it works perfect everytime

It would be relevant to know what power rating public charger you're using?

If using a <=22kW AC charger it could indicate a fault in the car's on-board 11kW charger.

I'm assuming you've checked for a good physical connection (plug pushed firmly in)?

I’m having a similar issue but the other way round. Just been trying to charge at home and after around ten minutes it stops. I’ve not had this before and my normal off peak schedule is off and the car set to charge immediately to 80%. I’ve tried everything, powered down the charger replugged the lead and it’s still doing it…
…it’s just done it again.
Any ideas.

This appears to be something to do with the car’s built in scheduler which I have set for off peak charging. I had un ticked that particular schedule and set for ‘charge immediately’ but for whatever the reason I’m yet to get to the bottom of, it would stop charging after 10-15 minutes.
I managed to get 40% in after constant restarts so I could do the small amount of driving I needed to do. When I got home, I plugged the car back in and ticked the schedule box, locked the car and hoped it would charge. It did, up to 80% as requested.
I will now investigate why it won’t charge at home at any other time despite telling it to ‘charge immediately’.
