Just had an email from Parkway Derby to say mine is being built this week. Roughly how long from build week to delivery? Should it be about start of September?

I had an update on my build week today, it's now estimated week 33 (aug 15-21), it was previously wk 44 (31oct-nov 6). So fingers crossed.

Still estimated dates so they may yet change again either way.

ordered 28/9/21 approx 20 week delivery time assumed
In March 22 quoted Build week 47
In April 22 that moved to week 46
July 4th still week 46
July 12th Suddenly Built and waiting at Emden port!
July 14th Now at UK port
Delivery to me booked for 25th July!!!!
ID4 life 52kwh Pure with Alloys, Heat Pump, Design pack plus and in Manganese Grey
I assume built and shipped due to the 12 month grant issue.
Whilst it wasnt amazing news being fed from VW Germany, i must say James at Listers Stratford Fleet services kept me updated constantly and couldnt fault anything from him.

What a difference a week makes!

Just heard my car has gone to status 20 with a confirmed build start date of next week! (forward from November)

Dealer mentions that cars may be stuck as a "shell" for a while awaiting components. But at least positive news. (Ordered 16 October 21)

After reading some of these recent posts from you guys has me hopeful I could actually see my iD4 some point this year. We ordered a life model mid November last year through motability. It appears like some of these build dates are being bought forward, then again I still think the dealerships don’t really have a scooby until the status of the cars updates on there system.

may i ask what model/version ID.4 you went for (also which dealer it is).

i was hoping the part built cars stuck waiting on components was a thing of that past now (it was really bad on id.3 tours/max's etc last year, with some cars stuck in build/part built for many months)

I had an update from Leaseplan saying my car is still on track to reach the dealer (Windrush) 5th Sept. I ordered in Jan. Life Pure 52kWh in White. Assuming I would have heard by now if the car was to be delayed.

Finally some positive news, we ordered a pure life model (via motability scheme) on 21/11/21 and we’ve been sent an email today saying we have a confirmed build of 12/09/22 and looking at a mid to late oct delivery.
