Adding the the variable boot floor on a Match trim

Right now in the UK unless you buy the GTX you can’t get the variable boot floor on any ID.4 trim. From looking around online it used to be possible to fit it yourself as the screw holes were still in the bodywork but covered by the carpet. Does anyone know if that’s still the case for the Match trims currently being sold, or have VW made changes to the lower trims to prevent us fitting it? I saw some mention of them not being there on US ID.4s

I know they don’t seem to offer it as an option at the dealerships any more like they used to.

Looking to order an ID.4 at the end of December under the Motability leasing scheme but need a flat floor to load my powered wheelchair. Taking a demo vehicle to an adaption specialist in a couple of weeks to see if they can fit a floor. Will report after my visit.

Visited Des Gosling, Melbourne ,Derbys,specialist disabled adaption specialist. No problem fitting raised floor, they have a template.
